So I am a little behind in posting these.. and as I get more in, I will work on posting them all but here's a taste of Emma's 1st Birthday! :) We had a simple celebration with family at my parents house. Believe it or not, I made the cake... chocolate with white icing and pink icing to decorate. :) It said "Happy 1st Birthday Emma!" with flowers and hearts. Not bad, I thought.
We went over to my parents house to have a BBQ and celebration.. and it was only fitting that the Princess had to take a nap before we could even celebrate.. - but of course, her timing! Emma is always on her timing! Little Princess.
After she finally got up, we celebrated by opening presents. I would help her open them... and then she would pick them up and look at them and ever so politely... THROW them on the ground next to her seat! lol.. :) silly girl. We all laughed as I was reading her cards to her... Uncle Larry & Auntie Carmelita gave her a card that had a bit of cash in it, with the writing.... "Here's for your first shopping spree on us" - She actually got excited and clapped! hahaha :) WE were ALL laughing! Typical female! Ready to shop! After opening presents we stripped her down... and the cake madness began! - as you can see... the end result... - she NEEDED a bath! hahaha :) Gotta love 1st birthdays.
